My portrayal of Mahalia Jackson in Tom Stoltz's musical "Mahalia!" led to consistently sold-out performances throughout the three month run, three standing-room-only tour dates.  

 

I also had the honor of engaging with children from underserved communities through theater outreach.

I've been featured in the Houston Chronicle, Houston Defender and Houston Press, received nominations for Best Actress from both Broadway World and the Houston Press Theatre Award Association, and won a Best Actress Giorgee Award from the oldest running African American theatre in the Southern Region.
